STEM Buddies is an educational app designed to introduce children aged 4-9 to the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in a fun and interactive way. Developed by Sindyan Educational Media FZ-LLC, this iPhone app features a group of lovable characters - Doc, Victor, Helix, Cookie, and their robot dog Issy - who love to explore life and science from their treehouse.
The app utilizes storytelling, animations, and activities to engage children in learning about STEM topics. Each short animated story focuses on a specific STEM concept and is accompanied by learning objectives to assess the child's understanding. The content is designed to be interactive and enjoyable, making it easier for children to grasp complex concepts.
STEM Buddies offers a subscription-based model, with options for a semi-annual (6 months) or annual (12 months) subscription. Subscribers gain access to a range of topics, including Gravity, Water Cycle, Flying, Sound, Germs, Muscles, and Healthy Food. Each topic includes short streamed videos, fun facts, questions and quizzes, matching games, certificates of completion, coloring pages, and interactive puzzles.
To manage subscriptions, users can access the App Store Subscription feature through their iTunes Account settings. The subscription will auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current subscription expires. Cancelling a subscription can be done through the iOS device settings, under 'iTunes & App Store' and 'Subscriptions'.
